Every floor of the Phoenix DoorDash office has its own theme. I was tasked with creating a mural for the 8th floor which was all about Arizona trails and the outdoors. I illustrated a classic Arizona desert scene within the confines of big and bold custom lettering — complete with an immense amount of sunset colors. The final mural was roughly 11 feet by 10.5 feet and painted in just under 3 days.

The final design utilized a black outline throughout which allowed us to be a bit more imperfect as we painted since it would be covered up afterward. Posca paint markers saved the day and made the outlining process a breeze.
