The Washington Post and I worked together on a collection of 34 stickers for use in their year-end review product called Newsprint, but more colloquially known as “the Spotify Wrapped of the Washington Post”. Newsprint allows the WaPo subscribers to see their reading data reflected in a fun, and unique way.
A few favorite sticker selects.
Within the sticker collection contained 6 specific "Reader Types". These were the hero illustrations that are displayed at the end of your quiz based on the WaPo content you read and engage with.

Collection of rough sticker sketches presented.
We worked together to explore possible texture and coloring treatments. Additionally, testing the best sticker border width and shadowing.
Marker texture helped it feel more handmade but not quite the vibe.
The simplicity here works nicely but it needs just a bit more depth.
