Illustrating gift cards is always a good time. It's basically a spot illustration that holds money?! So when the team at Target reached out about collaborating, I knew we'd whip up something super fun and playful — a classic Happy Birthday design to celebrate another day around the sun, all tucked away in a neat lil gift box.

The goal with this gift card design was to illustrate a concept utilizing gift boxes. I provided 3 different rough lettering styles and approaches for the card to head in.
